Hiring Our Hall
£35 for a morning, afternoon or evening session
Following a major re-development of the premises in 2003, we are able to provide comfortable, up to date facilities for hire. At the rear of the Church there is an ‘L’ shaped, carpeted room that can accommodate up to 50 people (40 seated) and this area, together with a well equipped kitchen and modern cloakroom facilities, can be hired for the above charge.
The room makes an ideal venue for a variety of functions including children’s parties, classes and meetings. From the hall there is direct access to a patio and secure garden and these areas can also be used when weather permits. If required the room can be divided into 2 areas by a modern acoustic resistant screen.
Furniture/equipment included in the hire charge
In the hall:
14 tables of assorted sizes, 40 chairs.
In the kitchen:
Hot water urn, electric kettle, cooker and hob, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher
4 large + 1 regular sized tea pots
35 sets of cutlery + extra forks and spoons
Set of matching crockery comprising 29 dinner plates, 8 large serving plates, 27 tea plates and 29 dessert bowls
Various plates of assorted sizes, 75 china mugs, 33 plastic tumblers
Plastic picnic set comprising approx. 30 dinner plates, mugs and cutlery
Trays, assorted kitchen utensils and jugs.
Male and female WCs. Separate WC for those with disabilities. This incorporates baby changing facilities
The whole area is covered by a ‘loop system’ for those with hearing difficulties and by a modern fire alarm system.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted on Methodist property
